We had our ceremony here in September. Everyone raves about how beautiful it was. The pictures we took all turned out amazing and they were very unique. We loved getting to stay in the suite. We were able to get ready and relax before the big day. Everything from the dj to the cake to the decorations and food was phenomenal. The venue is breathtaking. Having said that, the best part about this experience was Adrienne, our planner. She is without a doubt the best in the business. She was professional and made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it. During the planning process, she never made us feel like we were asking too many questions or bothering her at all. It was like having your best fiend right by your side through the whole thing. I wouldn’t of wanted to work with anyone else.

We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Historical Bar Wedding Venue - Holiday Inn at Six Flags St. Louis on August 24. Both of my husband's sisters held their weddings at the same venue 7 and 15 years prior, so we know what to expect hen working with Adrienne Rind and her staff. Adrienne is a pro in her field. She provides great wedding-prep service in a one-stop shop venue. All the basics were taken care of except officiant, bouquet/boutonnière and photographer. Everything else was included in the package.
The venue is historic with old-world charm from the stone/wood work and stained glass windows. It provided easy onsite lodging accommodations for our guests, conveniently set-up in a room block until 30 days prior to the event. (Side note: be sure to contact hotel frequently to add rooms to block, they will not add more automatically.) Hotel is dog friendly, which was a must since our pups were our "Best Pup" and "Pup of Honor".
The hospitality suite was included on Friday and Saturday night at no charge (Friday was included because we booked in January at their open house which was the booking bonus). The booking bonus also included a veggie tray during cocktail hour and extra hour of DJ service.
The four packages offered differed by food menu options. We chose package #4 which was the buffet option (other three packages are plated meals). Our menu included protein choices: pepper steak au poivre and chicken with sherry wine sauce. The other pre-chosen sides included: tossed salad, pasta salad, fresh veggies and dip, marinated mushrooms, fresh fruit, rice pilaf, angel hair pasta with pesto and broccoli, oven roasted potatoes, grilled veggies and rolls. No one walked away hungry from our wedding and everyone raved about the options. Many said it was the best wedding menu they have enjoyed and can't believe how perfect the steak was cooked! The venue also cuts the cake and serves it with french vanilla ice cream, delivered to the guests at the tables.
Venue has many great location for photos both indoors and outdoors.
Atrium area provides great spot to hang out the night before the wedding with friends and family. Also, it keeps families busy while pre-wedding prep is conducted the day-of.
A big thank you to Adrienne and her staff for making our wedding day stress and hassle free! We will recommend Holiday Inn Six Flags St. Louis to others looking for a one-stop shop wedding venue
